Thank you MLLC Mission Chair / church member Karen V and Meadowbrook Community CARE (MC2) Community Rep Lee L for their support this week at the Meadowbrook Annual Garden. Located next to Nathan Hale High School and near Maple Leaf Lutheran Church, this community outreach effort is in partnership with Seattle Parks, Sustainable NE Seattle and Meadowbrook Community CARE. March 11th Blood Drive- SAVE LIVES! PDF Print E-mail

Every 3 minutes, someone in Western Washington needs a blood transfusion. 4 out of 5 of us will need a blood transfusion some time in our life. Help ensure this precious resource is available for ill and injured people in our community by giving blood. For only about an hour of your time, you can donate a life-saving gift of blood for another person. You can help! We're looking for volunteers as well as donors. Bring a friend or neighbor or co-worker.

Appointments for blood donors can be set up in advance by contacting us, or stop by on Monday, March 11th between 1-3pm OR 4-7pm. For more information, please visit http://www.psbc.org/programs/blood.htm

Trunk or Treat 2012 PDF Print E-mail

Since 2006 (only missing one year because of poor weather) we have participated in the Wedgwood Business District Trick or Treat event.  We park our cars in front of the Wedgwood Broiler, open our trunks and hand out candy to hundreds of kids.  We love it!
