Our third annual National Night Out was an evening full of fun, food and community. We thank everyone who came out and participated in a spirit of unity and community to get to know one another better and to have some fun. The food was yummy, the kids had fun activities, the music was good, and the Molly Moon ice cream truck was a big hit. Mark your calendars and plan on being with us next year: Tuesday, August 2, 2011.

Our Maundy Thursday worship service included an optional footwashing experience and a huge potluck meal. The word "Maundy" comes from the latin word mandatum, meaning commandment. Maundy Thursday reminds us that on this night Jesus gave his disciples a new commandment: to love one another. It's was beautiful and meaningful worship service and we hope that you will join us next year. Here's some pictures from the evening.

On Palm Sunday some of our Sunday School children and their parents presented us with a great dance to the song Hosanna. They danced with palm branches and red ribbons. It was beautiful and extremely cute. See some pictures below. |
